Fundraising at The Great South Run
PARCS uses a life sized inflatable elephant to promote its work in and around the local community. We believe that rape and sexual abuse is still the metaphorical ‘Elephant in the Room’ and that it’s our role to facilitate conversations that support survivors of sexual abuse by challenging victim blaming and holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.
Every year we take part in the Great South Run with our elephant of course!
The Great South Run not only provides an opportunity to raise much needed funding but also means that we can promote the work of the charity.
If you are intending to take part this year please do get in touch and let us know. We can provide T shirts and, if you are happy for us to do so, promote your run through social media and JustGiving.
Thank you 😊
